She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wilbert Hancock, Sr. and Decarr Stallings Hancock; her husband Peter Clark Quarterman; her brother Charles; and her sister-in-law Saralyn Hancock.

She is survived by: her niece Holly Hancock of Waycross; and her nephew Glenn Hancock of Fernandina Beach, Florida..
