With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael D. Willis of Valdosta, Georgia, born in Fort Madison, Iowa, who passed away on November 8, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Loudon (James) of Groveland; his grandson Jacob of Groveland; his stepson Thomas Lovett (Darla); and his stepgrandchildren, Thomas of Quitman and Ty of Quitman.
