It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jo Reid (Valdosta, Georgia), born in Nashville, Georgia, who passed away on November 7, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Mae (Hill) and Homer Lee Forehand, Sr.; her husband Edward Albert Reid; and her siblings, Homer Lee Forehand, Jr. and Marie Elder.
She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda; her son-in-law Howard Myers of Gadsden, AL; her sons, Homer (Charlene Reid) and Joseph Reid; her granddaughter Christina Lynn Poole of Leesburg, GA; her close friend Beckie Mayer of Griffin, GA; and her pet Molly. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
