She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jernigan and Frances Jones Jernigan; her husbands, Lloyd G. Combs and Leavon Green Shiver; her daughter Martha Ann Hart; and her siblings, Joseph Jernigan, James Jernigan, Raymond Jernigan, Tommy Jernigan, Bonnie Armentrout, Maydell Wilkerson and Geneva Stewart.
She is survived by: her son Robert (Bobby); her daughter-in-law Kyndra Combs of Goose Creek; her daughters, Teresa Shiver Wilson of Valdosta, Melissa (Gene Williams), Georgia and Lisa (Earl Weaver); her son-in-law Dennis Hart of Valdosta; and her brothers, Gene (Barbara Jernigan), Charles (Vickie Jernigan) and Robert (Mary Jernigan). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; a sister.
