She is survived by her husband Raymond S. Cowart of Valdosta; her children, Byron Keith Myers (Pam) of Valdosta, Laura Lynn O'Neal of Adel and Jeffrey Loren Myers (Teresa) of Perry, FL; her grandchildren, Nolan Joseph Myers of Valdosta, Teresa Moon (John) of Jacksonville, FL, Jeremy Myers of Valdosta, Paul Myers (Beth) of North Dakota, Barbara Watts (Justin) of Lenoir, NC, KayLynn Myers of North Dakota, Stacy Ballard of Melbourne, FL, Beth O'Neal of Huntsville, AL, Justin Myers (Melissa) of Tallahassee, FL, Cameron McLeod (Dusty) of Naylor, GA and Tessa Allen (Garrett) of Perry, FL; her step-children, Jeannie Michelle Fender (Roger) and Mark Steven Cowart; her 21 great grandchildren and her sister-in-law Jean Myers. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and family members.

I guess I could begin by saying how much I love my grandmother and how she was the sweetest lady and strongest I have ever met.She was always there for the people she loved most no matter what and did whatever she could to make everyone happy. I love her so much and she will be missed beyond measure. I love you forever and always grandma.”
