It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Alice Lane of Valdosta, Georgia, born in Naylor, Georgia, who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucius Henry Davis and Ola Mae Harnage Davis; her husband Edward C. Lane, Jr.; her daughter Mary Jane Lane; and her siblings, Allen Davis, Francis Powell, Jack Davis and Lewis Davis.

She is survived by: her siblings, Bobbie Jo Metzler, Betty Pratt and Joe Davis; her brother-in-law Brinson Lane; and also, Amber and Troy Terry. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
