It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Hunter (Valdosta, Georgia), born in Greenville, Florida, who passed away on April 25, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rachel Sloan Braswell and Charles William Braswell; her brothers, Billy Braswell (Georgia), Gordon Braswell (Rachael) and Bobby Braswell; and her sister-in-law Beverly Braswell.

She is survived by: her husband Jim Hunter, Sr. of Cherry Lake; her sons, Jim 'Jimmy Hunter, Jr. and Richard Hunter (Renee) of Cherry Lake, Florida.; her grandchildren, Lindsey Lawson (Mike), Lee Hunter (Brittany), Kyle Hunter (Nikki), Jason Hunter (Rebecca) and Kitt Hunter (Kai); her great grandchildren, Dilan, Thad Lawson, Jett Hunter, Bentley Logan, Sadie Hunter, Abby, Sidney, Jacob Hunter, Ethan and Vivian Hunter; her siblings, Paul Braswell (Kathleen), Jane Wells (Ken), Steve Braswell and Kathy Hidy (Lowell); and her sister-in-law Opal Braswell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The United Methodist Youth Ranch or the Cherry Lake Methodist Church building fund.
