He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Sr. Walizer and Estelle Miller Walizer (Peg); and his sisters, Infant Suzanne Illene Walizer and Sandra Jo Dougherty. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Walizer of Valdosta and Kristie; his son-in-law Dustin Thomas of Barney; his grandsons, Landon Thomas and Ethan Thomas; the mother of his children Terry McLane of Valdosta; his nephew Shawn (Amanda Dougherty); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Owen Dougherty and Emmie Dougherty; his niece Danielle Dougherty; and his great-nephew Drew Dougherty.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Carson McLane Funeral Home (2215 N Patterson St, Valdosta, GA 31602). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
