It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marguerite Shelton Harrell of Valdosta, Georgia, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Esbie Shelton and Marie Allen Shelton; and her husband Ike Harrell. She is survived by: her daughters, Bonny Bowen Harrell McKinnon (Josh Calvin), Amy Shelton Harrell Mackey (Lee) and Leah Harrell Shaw; her grandchildren, Lillian Shelton Houston, Susanna Marie Shaw, Morgan Mackey, Mac Mackey and Crawford Calvin; her sisters, Christine Shelton Spain of Columbus and Gail Bailey of Valdosta; and her brother-in-law Dr. Larry Harrell (Tom Arbaugh). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
