Lucy George Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2021, at the age of 86, Lucy George of Valdosta, Georgia, born in Bonneau, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Shealy and Essie Shealy; and her sisters, Ruby Krill, Alice Stowers and Lois Almers.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth George; her daughters, Beth Cleveland (Frank), Alice Coats (Mike) and Laura Kulp (Gordon); and her siblings, Frances Wyndham, Olene Jernigan, Sydney Lee, Genele Kemmerlin, Charles Shealy, Jerry Shealy and David Shealy. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Hospice of South Georgia, 2263 Pineview Drive Valdosta, GA 31602.
