It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lowell W. Herring (Valdosta, Georgia), who passed away on July 17, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Perry and Stella Waldron Herring; his stepson Eddie Hodges; and his sister Faye Carter. He is survived by: his wife Mattie Hodges Herring; his children, Tina (Kirby Tucker), Patrick (Jenny Herring) and Derek (Dana Herring); his stepchildren, Tammy Carter of Lake Park and Ricky Todd Hodges of Hahira; his grandchildren, Leslie Tucker, Dale J. Herring, Kari (Shawn Snow), Kyle (Aimee Herring), Erin (Dallas McRae), Cassie Herring (Trey Sandlin), Lindsey Herring and Jada (James Hatcher); his great grandchildren, Allee Snow, Emmy Snow, Tucker Snow and Madison McRae; his sister Linda Kay; and his brother-in-law Del Clarke of South Dakota. He is also survived by numerous brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
