He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Willis and Robert Willis; his wife Ethel Louise Willis; his children, Derrell Dexter Willis and Shannon Loraine Willis; his siblings, Mary Moten, Eugene Willis and Alfonzo Willis; and his grandparents, Joshua Goins and Essie Mae Goins.
He is survived by: his children, Yolanda W. Finnissee (Freddie) of Valdosta, GA, Louise Latrice Askew of Valdosta, GA, Johnny Louis Willis (Linda) of Haines City, FL, Jamielee Willis (Sonya) of Jacksonville, FL, Joshua Willis (Mary) of Orlando, FL and Bobby Willis of West Palm, FL; and his siblings, Theresa Howard, Francis Dykes, Carnetha Breedlove, Dianna Willis McMillan (Sam), Verlyn Willis, Sr. (Delois) and Theardis Willis (Valerie). He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; thirty one great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; a special friend, Jessica Sims; and a host of extended family, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
