We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2020, at the age of 96, Louie Carlton Flythe Sr. of Valdosta, Georgia, born in Hahira, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Claude Flythe and Bessie Claude Bonner Flythe; his wife Betty Nell McLeod Flythe; and his siblings, George Flythe, James Flythe, Edwin Flythe, John Flythe, Margaret Flythe Whaley and Marion Flythe Mueller.
He is survived by: his son Louie, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Sharon Flythe of Valdosta; his daughter Ann; his son-in-law Bobby Dasher of Valdosta; his granddaughters, Haley (Caleb Morris) and Deann (Jim Scruggs); his brother Charles; his sister-in-law Laura Flythe of Valdosta; his sister Dorothy Flythe Johnson of Quitman; and also Elle Scruggs of Valdosta. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Central Avenue Church of Christ or Hospice of South Georgia.
