She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillman Lupo and Agatha Lupo (Griffin); her husband Flavis Hiers Sr.; her children, Gwen Ready and Joel Hiers; her brother T. W. Lupo; and her granddaughter Megan Morningstar.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Hiers (Gail) of Valdosta, Georgia and Peggy Stauffer of Valdosta, Georgia; her grandsons, John Ready (Jennifer), Kevin Ready (Camille), Tim Stauffer (Renee) and Matt Stauffer; and her great grandchildren, Jack Ready, Jacob Ready, Eli Stauffer, Liam Ready, Scarlett Stauffer, Chloe Ready, Zoey Bryant, Abigail Bryant and Alyanna Bryant. She is also survived by Great-great-grandson: Asher Numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Music Funeral Services - Valdosta (3831 N Valdosta Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Riverview Memorial Gardens (3945 N Valdosta Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602).
