She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Alfred Blanton and Rena Lee Smith Blanton; her husband Joseph Thomas Ellis; and her siblings, Melvin Blanton of Albert Blanton, L. A, Claude Blanton, Kathleen Thompson, Hayward Blanton, Zelphie Rentz and Anna White.
She is survived by: her children, Vivian (Joe Reagan) of Valdosta, Barbara Vann of Valdosta and Wendell Ellis of Lake Park; her grandchildren, Natasha Strickland (David), Steven Reagan (Shelby Reagan) and Joseph Tyler Ellis; her great grandchildren, Addison Reagan and Katie Strickland; her grandson-in-law Sidney Strickland; her brother Arthur; and her sister-in-law Frances Blanton of Valdosta. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
