He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard William Gane and Inez Carroll Gane; his wife Gloria Jean Rankin Gane; and his sister Almera Gane Dente. He is survived by: his son John Bradley Gane (Brad); his daughter-in-law Julie Anne Gane of Valdosta; his grandchild True Anne Gane of Savannah; his nieces, Andrea Dente-Nation, Kimberly Dente-Bailey of St. Petersburg and Terese Hoffman Watson; his nephew Michael Hoffman; his brother Chris; and his sister-in-law Carol Hoffman of Greenville.
