In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Leona had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Leona may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Abood and Adele Mansor Abood; and her brothers, Johnny M. Abood and George Abood, Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Sister Angela Abood of St. Louis, MO; her niece Teresa Abood Crown; and her cousin Barbara George Shapiro of Valdosta.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar St. John Catholic Church (800 Gornto Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602). A Mass was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
