He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland J. Kent, Sr. and Bessie Alene Lancaster Kent; and his sisters, Mary Louise Kent and Loni Bell Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Kent of Valdosta; his son Leland Jackson Kent, III (Trae); his daughter-in-law Devoney of Valdosta; his daughter Mandy Rowe; his son-in-law Harry of St. Augustine, Florida; his siblings, Barbara Barker of Valdosta, Jim Kent (Susan) and Bobby Kent of Athens; his grandchildren, April Jolly (Justin), Kaitlynn Culpepper (Jay), Jackson Passmore (Jordan), Emily Alexander (Justin), Kirstyn Gordon, Jacklyn Kent, Leland Jackson Kent IV (Coby) and Kathryn Grace Kent; and his great grandchildren, Braylon Worley, Rigby Culpepper, Kade Culpepper, Lydia Musgrove and BJ Musgrove.
