It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lamia Daher Mourad Moses (Valdosta, Georgia), who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daoud Mourad and Montoura Mourad; her husband Solomon Moses; and her siblings, Najla, Adele, Hind and Antoin.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lila, Fadwa, Dahlial and Damia; her children, Louise M. Baskin, Ralph D. Moses (Donna) and Lynette M. Cooper; her grandchildren, Melissa Castillo Jarrod Baskin (Caleb), Kendal Baskin, Caroline Sadeq (Ray) and Cadee Cooper; and her great grandchild John Solomon Castillo. She is also survived by her family, friends.
The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in honor of her late husband, Solomon http://www.lls.org (http://www.lls.org), St. John Catholic Church where she has been a proud member since 1960, or a tree be planted in her memory to celebrate her love of nature.
