He is survived by: his wife Patsy Waddell of Valdosta; his brother Lamar; his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Waddell of Woodstock, Georgia, Allene Harris of Athens and JoRuth Porter of Riegelwood; and his daughter-in-law Dede Waddell of Valdosta. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
