It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Beth Weeks of Valdosta, Georgia, born in Hahira, Georgia, who passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Colonel Joe Hall and Madlyn Fiveash Hall; her daughter Jennifer Lynn Wright; and her siblings, Dorothy Meeks, Ralph Hall and Terry Hall.
She is survived by: her husband Walt Wright; her former husband Bill Weeks; her daughter Linda Beth; her son-in-law Jerry Carter of Echols County; her grandsons, Walt Carter (Payton Powell) of Echols County and Matthew Carter (Susan Lee) of Echols County; her great grandchild Lakyn Elizabeth Carter of Valdosta; her siblings, Jan Sumner of Valdosta and Randy Hall of Hahira; and her sisters-in-law, Blanche Hall and Dot Hall.
