He was predeceased by: his parents, George Riley Fanning and Zelpha Ellen Craig; and his sister Lou Ellen Garrett. He is survived by: his brother Earnest Lee Fanning (Helen) of Missouri; and his stepson Craig Prince (Petra) of Valdosta. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren.
