She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Rewis and Viola Rewis (Petty); her son Joseph "Darrell" Bennett; and her siblings, Glenn Rewis, James Rewis, Nathan Rewis, Walter Rewis, Talmadge Rewis and Brunell Sutton.

She is survived by: her children, James "Jeff" Jasper Bennett, III (Bobbie) of Lake City, FL, Timothy Bennett (Barbara) of Valdosta, GA and Brenda Johnson of Jesup, GA; her grandchildren, Terry Alan Bennett (Stephanie), Shana Tillman (Chris), Erin Sowell (Jeff), Sarah Bennett and Tracey Bennett; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Danielle, N. J., Hailey, McKinley, Meagan, Daniel and Keaton; and her sisters, Betty Jo Davis of Yulee, FL, Ora Lee Rhoden (Buddy) of Jacksonville, FL, Shirley Bradford of Valdosta, GA and Numerous. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
