He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Alice Wood Dedge; his stepfather John Newcomb; his son Christopher Boyd Rogers; and his grandson Dakota Allen Starling. He is survived by: his wife Diane Brogdon McClure Rogers of Valdosta, GA; his children, Michael Christopher McClure (Jackie) of North Carolina and Melissa McClure Starling (Rob Mason) of Valdosta, GA; his grandchildren, Dalton Hawke, Logan Barker, Preston McClure of Valdosta, GA, Nydia McClure and Chandler McClure of North Carolina; his great grandchild Benjamin Barker; his sisters, Susan Marie (Spence) of Oklahoma and Margaret Willa Dean of Florida; his aunt Virgina Sanders of Albany, GA; and his sister-in-law Shirley Howling of Adel, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
