He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Hightower of Valdosta; his daughter Lisa; his son-in-law John Bryant of Lee County, GA; his children, Kelley Hightower of Ringgold, GA and Ashley; his daughter-in-law Tiffany Hightower of Hickory, NC; his grandchildren, Jackson of Hickory, NC, Taylor of Hickory, NC, Kate of Hickory, NC and Riley Hightower of Hickory, NC; and his sister Ruth Hightower Smith (George) of Valdosta.
