He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter James Lamar and Susie Mae Perry; his wife Gloria Ann Lamar; his son Walter Lamar; his siblings, Nathanial Lamar and Josephine Butler; his sister-in-law Lucy Lamar; his brother Solomon Lamar; and his brother-in-law Roy Taylor.
He is survived by: his daughter Crystal M. Lamar; his grandchildren, Walter Lamar, Jr. (Tremaine Lamar), Tonique Lamar, Ashley Ingram and Brianna Ingram; his stepsons, Tony Jenkins (Tiffany) and Zack Clark; his stepfather Ronnie Clark; and his granddaughter Serinity Jenkins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
