It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joe Cordova of Valdosta, Georgia, born in Macon, Georgia, who passed away on January 24, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph James Cordova, Sr. and Angiola Minor Cordova; his wife Patricia Seco Cordova; his daughter Fran; his son-in-law Karl Strauch of Tampa, FL; his sons, Joseph James Cordova (Jay) of Atlanta and John Cordova of Tampa, FL; his sister Joan Cordova Walker of Macon; his granddaughters, Taylor Strauch of Nashville, TN, Kelsie Strauch of Tampa, FL and Greta Cordova of Ashville, NC; his niece Pia Pantoja (Travis Simmons) of Valdosta; his great-nephew Nicolas Baer of Valdosta; and his sisters-in-law, Carmen Seco of Pitrufquen and Maria Gloria Seco of Santiago, Chile. He was also cherished by several cousins, nephews and nieces in Georgia and Florida; his large, extended family.
