It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ann Phillips Farmer of Valdosta, Georgia, who passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Phillips and Rudell Knox Phillips; her husband Smokie Farmer; her daughter Peggy Jo Holton; and her siblings, Willie Phillips, Pete Phillips and Mary Newsome.

She is survived by: her children, Jeff of Valdosta, Deidra Frier (Julius) of Valdosta, Bridgett Ann Rutherford of Valdosta, Viola (Marty Singletary) and Belinda (Ricky Conner); and her sister Jacqueline Glass of Valdosta. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
