He is survived by: his wife Joan Acosta of Valdosta, Georgia; his daughter Samara Acosta of Tifton, Georgia; his grandchildren, Elaina Fryslie and Bryson Kemp; his siblings, Angelo Acosta (Daphne) of Cabo de Rojo, Rigoberto Acosta (Mirtita) of Ponce and Esther Rodriquez of Cabo de Rojo; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Johnson of Valdosta, Georgia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
