He is survived by: his wife Betty Cornelius Sheffield of Valdosta; his daughters, Melissa Mims (Dale) of Valdosta and Dr. Jeri Lynn Sheffield of Valdosta; his granddaughter Brittany Brown (Joseph) of Valdosta; his great grandchild Camerin Rigdon; and his siblings, Larry Sheffield (Paula) of Naylor, Nancy Parker (Bill) of Valdosta, Dorothy Skiles and Mary Catherine Davidson of Colorado. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
