It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffery Alan Sermons Sr. (Valdosta, Georgia), who passed away on March 24, 2018, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Tracie Everett Sermons; his children, Gabrielle Sermons and Jeffery Sermons Jr.; his granddaughter Nyra; his mother-in-law Patricia Strong Putnam; his sisters-in-law, Toni Kinsey (Mose) of Moultrie, GA., Katrina Royal of Valdosta, GA., Tiffany Putnam of Houston, TX., Roger Rome (Susanne) of Thomasville, GA., Stan Rome (Laverne), Antwan Sermons (Katrina), Bruce Sermons of Minnesota, MN. and Rennie Tarver (Chantay) of Orlando, FL.; his sister Wanda Sermons of South Carolina; his aunts and uncles, Harold Baker (Pat) of Valdosta, GA, Thomas Sermons (Joyce) of Rochester, NY, Rubye Baker, Sarah Baker and Wilmatean Baker; and his sisters, Sarah Sue Solomon (Horace), Beverly Ann Madison, Janice Young (Clifton) of Valdosta, GA. and Cheryl Bolden of Cordele, GA.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.
