It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Lumpkin Ferrell (Valdosta, Georgia), born in Quitman, Georgia, who passed away on November 30, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lumpkin and India Young Lumpkin; her spouse Converse Ferrell of Valdosta; her stepfather H. W. Stubbs; and her grandson Will Burgsteiner.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Ferrell Burgsteiner (Will) of Valdosta, Deborah Ferrell Christy of Middleburg, FL, Harriett Farrell Smith (Terry) of Springfield, VA and George William Ferrell (Debbie) of Middleburg, FL; and her grandchildren, Tracy Burgsteiner Jones (Martin) of Brookhaven, Melissa Christy Gump (Brock) of Middleburg, FL, Sara Christy Hierstein (Cameron) of San Antonio, TX and Tosha Mosbach (Tim) of Middleburg, FL. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
