He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Riggins and Clara Smith Riggins; his wife Ruby Nell Harris Riggins (Tibbie Childree Riggins); and his grandson Robert Jay Deason. He is survived by: his children, Terri Lloyd (Harold), Orrin Deason (Joann) and J. R. Riggins (Pam); his stepchildren, Judy Childree, Rodney Childree and Gary Childree; his sisters, Geralda Blalock and Nancy McMeekin (Bob); and his grandchildren, Chasity Lloyd Luke (Tommy), Owen Riggins, Shelby Parker, Emily Parker Olson (Shane), Jon Luke Parker, Emma Lloyd Strickland (Charles), Harold Wayne Lloyd II (Dawn), Jason Dixon (Shaylen) and Julie Madden (Chris). He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
