It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Kilcrease Sr. of Valdosta, Georgia, born in Nashville, Georgia, who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Haynes; his daughter Michelle Mitchell; and his siblings, Sue Harrell, Sammie Jamerson and Jim Kilcrease.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Kilcrease of Valdosta; his daughter Teresa; his son-in-law James Nalley of Lake Park; his son James Alvin, Jr. (Jay); his daughter-in-law Christy Kilcrease of Dasher; his grandchildren, Taylor Nalley of Valdosta and James Alvin, III Kilcrease (Jake) of Dasher; and his sisters, Carolyn Harrell of Valdosta, Gail (Gerald Poole) and Judy Castrinos of Hahira. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
