He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Flythe and Eunice Wade Flythe Williams; and his siblings, Wade Flythe and Carol Sue Gibbs. He is survived by: his wife Becky Flythe; his sons, Dale Flythe of Valdosta and Mark of Valdosta; his daughter-in-law Penny Flythe of Valdosta; his grandchildren, Jarrett Flythe, Jamie Flythe, Katie Flythe and Jake Flythe; and his siblings, Harry Flythe (Johnna) of Hahira, Richard Flythe of Barney, Greg Flythe (Martha) of Valdosta, Cathie Griffin (Charles) of Barney and Kay Fender of Nashville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
