He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Chester Ruis and Katie Ruis; his wife Barbara Ann Ruis; his son Greg Ruis; his daughter-in-law Amanda Ruis Ellenburg (Howard); his siblings, Kay Rawlings (Tommy), Sharon Parker (Raymond) and Charles Ruis (Nell); his grandchildren, Ben (Kari Ruis), Carrie (Lucas Hensley) and Nathan (Ashley Ruis); his great grandchild Aurora; and his stepgranddaughter Ava. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces and nephews.
