He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Jackson (J. T.) and Rosa Mae Cain; his wife Jeanette Griner Cain of Valdosta; his children, Jack Cain, Jr. (Donna), Sherry Cain Wetherington (Bert) and Debbie Cain Steinberg; his grandchildren, Gretchen Cain Cowart (Brandon), Brooke Wetherington Moreno (Hernando Moreno), John Dennis Wetherington (Emily), Laura Wetherington Bonner (Ansley), Jenna Cain Swails (Michael), Christy Steinberg Allbritton (Jeremy) and Chad Steinberg; his sister Helen Cain Cook (Harold) of Rossville, GA; and his sons-in-law, Dennis Wetherington and Charles Steinberg. He was also cherished by thirteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
