She was predeceased by: her siblings, Effie Cook, Cora Bell Hughes, Kathleen Polk, Ethel Morgan, Ivey Lewis, Lester Lewis and Emmitt Lewis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nelda Gates of Valdosta and Linda Schlegel (Don) of Prescott, AZ; her sisters, Myrtice Sutton of Clewiston, FL and Marie Clark of Lehigh Acres, FL; and her grandson Bryan Schlegel of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Langdale Hospice House or Gideon's International.
