We are sad to announce that on August 15, 2018, at the age of 86, Henry Briggs Smith Sr. (Valdosta, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Lane Winston Smith; and his siblings, Thomas H. Smith Jr., Georgia Smith Thomson and Sis Smith McGehee. He is survived by: his daughters-in-law, Briggs Jr., Wendy Smith of Marietta and Amanda Smith of Fairhope, AL; his grandchildren, Mason Smith of Fairhope, Ellis Smith of Fairhope, Winston Smith, Jr. of Fairhope and Gray Smith of Fairhope; and his sister Julia Bess Scott of Valdosta.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church or Hospice of South Georgia/Langdale Hospice House.
