She is survived by: her spouse Arthur R. Smith Jr. of Ashburn; her grandchild Gretchen Smith Mui (Lincoln) of Silver Spring; her siblings, Clifford King of Hesston and Mary Kathryn Turkington of Wilmore; her sister-in-law Sammye Smith Vore of Stanton; and also, King Smith, Peter Smith, Mary Anna Smith of New York City and Andrew Smith-Mui of Silver Spring. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
