She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Shelton and Vinona Mattie Rissler Shelton; her former husband Luther Griffith; and her granddaughter Jennifer Balbo. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon (Bobby Grimes), Alesia Gail Dorminey of Valdosta and Dana (Hansford Conner); and her grandchildren, Tracy Graham of Louisville, KY, Michele Redfern (Aaron) of Valdosta, Shannon Watts (Jim) of Valdosta, Aaron Conner (Kealen) of Warrenton, VA and Ashley Digges (Brad) of Midland, VA.. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
