He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Nathan and Helen Minerva Smith Mays; his wife Martha Frances Stalvey; and his sister Lois Mays Baker of Williston, ND.. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Laura, Donnie, Korie, Colin Smith of Valdosta, Thomas, Amanda, Eason, Caroline, Carleigh Mays of Blackshear, John, Charlotte, Lily, Amelia, Miriam Mays of Macon, Matthew, Katherine and Bethany Mays of Decatur; his sister Olive Mays Anderson of Missoula, MT; and his nephew Stalvey.
