He is survived by: his wife Betty Vann of Valdosta, GA; his daughter Sharon Laster-Locklyn (Ronald) of Pelham, AL; his stepsons, Gino Scott (Denise) of Valdosta, GA, Darryl Scott (Tameka) of Ellenwood, GA, Andre Freeman of Valdosta, GA and Eric Freeman of Valdosta, GA; his granddaughter Cedrika Laster (Tavarius) of Pelham, AL; his stepgrandchildren, Shaquavia Freeman of Miami, FL, Andrea Freeman of Valdosta, GA, Erika Freeman of Valdosta, GA, Gino V Scott, Jr. of San Diego, CA, Kevin Scott of Tifton, GA, Charmain Scott of Tifton, GA and Jaylen Scott of Ellenwood, GA; his great grandchild Sydney Olivia Young of Pelham, AL; his siblings, Mary, Lois, Jesse Vann (Marie), Andrew Vann, Herman Vann (Juanita) and Benjamin Vann (Doretha); and his close friends, Alan and Ida Williams. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
