He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Herdie Henderson; his wife Marilyn Kimmons Henderson of Valdosta; his children, Hope Henderson of Asheville, NC and Kip; his daughter-in-law Korey Henderson of Valdosta; and his grandchildren, Aidan Anderson of Dublin and Ireland (Faris Henderson).
He was chairman of the Valdosta State University Foundation, was a past state director of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and was active for 27 years in the Valdosta North Rotary Club.
