George Stillwell Obituary

George Dewey Stillwell, 45, of Valdosta, Ga. Sadly, departed on January 13, 2024. Born January 16, 1978, in Thomasville, Ga. He was the son of the late James Dewey Stillwell and Cynthia Shackleford Stillwell. George graduated from Thomasville High School in 1997. He continued his education by obtaining an A.S. degree in Automotive mechanics from Trident Technical College. George was also a graduate of the Florida Department of Corrections Basic Corrections Officers Training Academy, as well as the CSX Railroad Conductor and Engineer School in which he was recently employed as a Conductor with CSX Railroad. George is proceeded in death by his Father James Dewey Stillwell, Mother Cynthia Shackleford Stillwell, and his Sister Jacquline Marie Stillwell Singletary. He is survived by his brothers Christopher James Stillwell, Sister-in-law Sarah Y. Stillwell of Summerville, SC. Michael Chadwick Stillwell, Sister-in-law Lara N. Stillwell of Valdosta, Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, Crystal Y. (Stillwell) Motley, Mary Stillwell, Ryan Stillwell, Heather Stillwell, Summer Stillwell of Lexington, and Summerville, South Carolina. Leaha Singletary, and Jordan Singletary of Thomasville, Georgia. To include a handful of great Nieces and Nephews. Memorial services will be held on January 26, 2024, at Allen and Allen Funeral Home of Thomasville, Ga at 2:00 pm.
