She was predeceased by: her parents, Ennis Wilson and Margaret Sneed Wilson; her husband Kirk Johnson, Sr.; her son Kirk Romon Johnson, Jr.; her grandmother Janie Sneed; her grandson Kirk Romon Johnson, III; and her brother Earl Robinson, Jr..
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kevin Johnson, Sr. and Kimberly Bentley; her great grandchildren, Kevin Johnson, Jr., Shamiria Johnson Cooper, Janiya Johnson, Ziana Johnson, Kyla Bentley, Kameron Bentley (Naudia) and Koi Edwards (Aaron); her daughter-in-law Marilyn Johnson; her niece Janice Robinson; her cousin Evelyn Littles; and her godson Richard G. Joyner. She is also survived by four great great grandchildren.
