Geneva left this world on November 24, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ennis Wilson and Margaret Sneed Wilson; her husband Kirk Johnson, Sr.; her son Kirk Romon Johnson, Jr.; her grandmother Janie Sneed; her grandson Kirk Romon Johnson, III; and her brother Earl Robinson, Jr..
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kevin Johnson, Sr. and Kimberly Bentley; her great grandchildren, Kevin Johnson, Jr., Shamiria Johnson Cooper, Janiya Johnson, Ziana Johnson, Kyla Bentley, Kameron Bentley (Naudia) and Koi Edwards (Aaron); her daughter-in-law Marilyn Johnson; her niece Janice Robinson; her cousin Evelyn Littles; and her godson Richard G. Joyner. She is also survived by four great great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. (215 E Branch St, Valdosta, GA 31601). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Hill Cemetery (1100 N Oak St, Valdosta, GA 31601). Due to COVID-19, Stevens Funeral Home will be enforcing social distancing and following the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines. We ask that anyone entering the building and attending any funeral events to please wear a mask.
