He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Adams Walker; his children, David Walker of Valdosta, James "Tim" Walker of Valdosta, Angela Legg (Nick) of Atlanta and Phillip Walker (Jessica) of Valdosta; his grandchildren, Sarah, Thomas Legg (Atlanta), Kelsey Mae, Kailyn, Holly and Kinsley Walker; and his brothers, Floyd Walker (Freida) of Kingston, TN and Leon Walker (Brenda) of Augusta, GA.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carson McLane Funeral Home (2215 N Patterson St, Valdosta, GA 31602). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Calendar Central Avenue Church of Christ (304 E Central Ave, Valdosta, GA 31601).
