He is survived by: his wife Muriel O. Fountain of Valdosta, Georgia; his children, Lesley Welch of Valdosta, Georgia, Lee Fountain of Charlotte and Kim Garvin (Ed) of Valdosta, Georgia; his siblings, Dorothy Carson of Albany, Georgia and Randall Fountain (Margaret) of Lake Park, Georgia; his great grandchild Rianne Parsley; his siblings, Tom and Gwen; and his extended family, Gwen Haney of Ardmore and Nancy Thompson of Sylvania, Georgia..
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Music Funeral Services - Valdosta (3831 N Valdosta Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Riverview Memorial Gardens (3945 N Valdosta Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602).
