It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin D. Wetherington of Valdosta, Georgia, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Wetherington and Estelle Knox; and his sister Betty Jean Godwin. He is survived by: his wife Eva Wetherington of Valdosta, Georgia; his daughters, Earnestine "Earnie" Billedeau (Cecil) of Jacksonville and Lisa "Red" Loffmin (Anthony) of Clayttville, Georgia; his grandchildren, Berry Windham (Stephanie), Timothy Windham, Maria Windham (Alan McCarter), Justin Loffmin, Andrew Billedeau (Anna), Christopher Billedeau (Jessica), Brandon Billedeau (Jen) and Daniel Billedeau (Taylor); and his great grandchildren, Ashley, Kaleb, Christian, Zackary, Darcie Jo, Henry and Lukas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
