She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Brannen and Grace Kicklighter Brannen; her husband Myron Boatright; and her brothers, Arlian Brannen, Dartho Brannen and Joe Brannen.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Baxter (Warren) of Glennville, Jennifer Edwards (Doug) of Valdosta, Georgia. and Vicki Carratt (Louie) of Valdosta, Georgia.; her grandchildren, Leslie Baxter, Shane, Michele Edwards, Shannon and Jamie Shontz; and her brother Dannis Brannen of Glennville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
